Spa Facts
The Timeless Spa makes a striking first impression, set discreetly within private gardens and decorated with antiques from Australia’s settlement times with sculptures and paintings adorning every room.
During winter months, a massive stone fireplace lends to the cosy atmosphere, while in summer, huge doors open to invite the outdoors in. Six double treatment rooms enable guests to share the spa experience; each room has its own changing area and private bathroom featuring a shower and a Japanese-style soaking tub to complete the luxurious experience.
Guests may choose to be treated in the calming spa environment or share in the experience with their partner in a double treatment room. Alternatively, it is possible to arrange for a Spa Therapist to provide treatments in the privacy of guest suites, thereby providing optimal convenience and comfort.
Exclusively developed for Emirates Hotels & Resorts, the Timeless range has been produced in partnership with acclaimed German company, Babor. Utilising some of the most advanced technologies in the world, and ingredients deeply rooted in Arabian culture that are known for their inherent regenerative properties, the results are soothing, calming and natural.
The spa’s therapists also use Sodashi products; native to Australia and made with completely natural and organic ingredients. When translated, the Sanskrit word “Sodashi” means wholeness, purity and radiance; befitting for what is widely considered to be the purest spa brand in the world.
Spa Resort Facts
Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa is an Emirates Hotel & Resort and is Australia’s first conservation-led luxury resort. A tribute to an old colonial outstation set within the Blue Mountains.
Using world-leading conservation measures, the original Homestead has been carefully restored to its former glory. Encompassing 40 free standing luxury suites, each with it’s own private terrace and swimming pool, the resort was built using today’s cutting edge technology and yet perfectly echoes the original heritage architecture to blend seamlessly with the vastness and dramatic beauty of the Hinterland terrain.
Members of the local Aboriginal tribe the Wiradjuri, cleansed the site in an ancient ritual before work began at Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa. They have contributed extensively to the process of development and remain closely connected with the property and its history.
Not a single tree was destroyed as a result of construction work, and the ground was meticulously studied for potential archaeological sites.
The resort’s Field Guides are able to offer a variety of inspiring suggestions by which to see Wolgan Valley and the surrounding Blue Mountains region. Guests can choose from hiking nature trails, exploring the countryside on horseback, touring by four-wheel drive, mountain biking through forests, or stargazing in the dead of night. These are just some of the many adventures awaiting those with a love for Australia’s great outdoors.
